grout caulked miter joints

does anyone use grout caulk in miters i know that epoxy would probably be the best but i don’t have it readily available and was wondering how grout caulk would work in this application

This is your shower application, John?

Grout and caulk are two quite different animals and I'm not sure what you mean by "grout caulk." Perhaps you can clarify?

A photo, or better description of your "miters" would also be helpful.

I think epoxy will be your best bet followed by epoxy grouting the whole thing, including the miters.

Otherwise, I'd probably just grout the whole thing. Acrylic caulk doesn't last and doesn't perform.

Hi Micah,

Yes, please post a picture when you get back. I’d like to see the application. I’d like to make sure this isn’t subjected to higher temperatures that would cause problems with the epoxy.
