Thoughts on laying floor to ceiling Marble Tile fireplace- no grout lines

Thoughts on laying marble tile (18x18, 1/2 thick) from floor to ceiling- 9 1/2 x 4 on drywall and marble chairrail molding along bottom, with no seams or grout lines at all. Any opinions or advice on this- due to no grout lines/seams??

ALL tile installations require grout joints. Are you talking about slab or thin panels?

Here’s a pic of what he gave me....he wants it to look like this. Sorry the pic is sideways. He wants the tiles butted up next to each other.

I would have a signed agreement that, when it starts to spall, you are not to be called to task or to repair it...or pass on the job.
