Yankee Test

Andy Lundberg of Felker sent me this, and just in a nick of time, too. Seems we're gettin' a powerful lot of Yankees hangin' round this place. Now we get to find out who they is -- I mean are.

Please report your score so we can classify ya.

Canadians can participate too. Just leave off all the "eh" stuff, eh?

Sorry, but Brits just can't be Yankees.

Interesting....

Couldn't really figure out what the true discriminators were. Tried three times, changing a couple of answers that could have gone either way. Twice, I was very slightly "Dixie" and once very slightly "Yankee."

I guess that means my left coast upbringing is still in charge!!

My Left Coast upbringing too, Howard. I only did it once, and I came up 50/50. So 22 years in Texas had not completely eradicated my once perfect West Coast dialect.

I'm curious to know whether Flatfloor can even pass the test.

49% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.

Now if I only knew if that was a good thing or what.
