Caulk or Grout outside corner of curb

Finishing my shower, but I have a question on the curb. Should I caulk or grout the outside corners of the curb? It is a brick curb, covered in Kerdi. Tile is down but I am wondering how to handle the outside plane change grout lines. I have attached a picture to help illustrate what I'm asking.

Thanks.

Grout would be fine. My personal opinion would be to get the grout caulk that matches your grout for that. I would also do all the corners with that same product. I know that Customs has a caulk that matches every color they sell.

Please tell us why that's "bad advice," Jason.

Ok....ok...I just try and make it simple CX....

.....unless you have a really-really good reason or just a thing for caulking in general, grout it...

Sorry Matt, sometimes a tile guy will hear something like " Put caulk there" and it will be silly sounding because it's maybe something this tile guy would never say and well....I apologize. Your advice is not wrong or bad advice. Just different and that's ok. It's what makes the world go 'round I guess.

Jason,

My thought is this. That area is going to get the MOST traffic through the shower. A grout caulk, not caulk alone, will give it the flexibility to move a bit and not crack out. Also, that is going to be a high water area, with alot of splashing on it. This siliconized grout will keep that water moving towards a floor designed for just that purpose and help reduce the amount of water that has to go to through the tile to the pan. This was just my opinion and conforms to every code I know of. And, if you read the first sentence, you would see that I said grout was fine. So, where is the bad advice? I routinely grout caulk areas that I know will have a lot of traffic just to ensure that they don't crack out. Rarely is it needed, it just makes me feel better. Also, grout caulking around the shower floor in the corner is another thing that I do just because I feel better having it where two different planes meet.
