New Husqvarna Saw
Does anyone know when this new Dewalt beater is being released? I've been holding out buying a new saw in hopes of this new one being my go to saw for the next 10-15 years.

Paul I take it you don't like the stand or did your Dewalt die?

Josh, I hadn't heard they were coming out with a new one. Will it have a better plunge cut and miter system like the DeWalt. I have been a Target guy for ever only saws I've ever owned in fact, but have used a DeWalt a few times and love the ease of plunge cuts. Can't stand the direct drive motors though.

Levi, I actually like the Dewalt and was getting ready to buy one but then I ran across Bill Vincent in a thread talking about how he was testing one of the prototypes for Husq , all he could say was it would be well worth the wait. Maybe he will chime in and let us know what's going on.

As soon as I know, so will you. In fact, you just might know a little sooner than me, being that I don't get much of a chance to get in here like I used to. But suffice to say, it'll be worth the wait. I think so, anyway. Some pretty innovative ideas with this saw when it comes out. Additionally, I'll post a video I took of the saw that impressed the living hell outa me. I can't yet, though, because I don't want to step on Andy Lundberg's toes, not knowing what I can or can't post. So I'll leave it at that.

I've got a stand too if somebody needs a spare when they buy their new Husq saw. It is currently doubling as a saw horse.

I use a mud stand, and mud board. Also, an extra mud stand and mud board next to my saw with a towel laid out to dry my cuts. The saw stands are of no use to my system lol. I am very interested in this new Husqvarna though. Tell us more Bill.
