Using Schluter edging over 8 feet

I plan to use Schluter Quadec on outside corners and in place of bullnose on my shower. The ceiling is 10 feet and tile is going all the way up. It looks like they only sell in 8 foot lengths. What’s my best option to deal with this?

Order two strips, cut 1 at 2ft with a chop saw or angle grinder and use a quadec connector to join the two strips.

That was one thought I had. Thank you. I assume the connector is best up high, where it's least noticeable.

Glad to help - that's where I would put it, or 2ft from the bottom if it appears to be less noticable there. All personal preference.

FWIW, the profiles are sold in metric lengths, so 2.5M, a bit over 8'.
