Hank, I think that much of that depends on whether the Republicans in Congress are ready to behave like adults? I think that we will not be at war with Iran, no matter how much Israel wants us to fight that fight for them. And I think that the economy will continue to improve.
But all that while, there are a few things which *I* will be doing. *I* will be getting very involved with ending the use of drones on United States soil, and I don't give a high god damn what the excuses are. And *I* will be working very hard to make sure that everyone who is responsible for lines on Election Day longer than 3 hours is held responsible for that malice or incompetence. And *I* will make very certain that my own Representative and Senators (all three are Democrats) know that I expect them to make a real and meaningful effort to work WITH their co-legislators to get that log jam resolved so that government is working for everyone's interests.
Lastly, *I* will be doing everything I can to overturn the Citizen's United ruling and get PAC's and corporations completely out of politics. IF that means that the only way to do that is to silence trade unions also, then that's the way I'm willing to go. This past election season needs to never ever be repeated again.
How's that?

It's funny Franklin. I just talked to my VERY Conservative cousin there in Ohio last night on the phone after the President's acceptance speech, and he seemed to be very aware of how those lies hurt Mr. Romney in Ohio. Mayhaps you're not as dialed in to the pulse of the auto industry like you think you are??Oh, by the way, he is an executive with a company intimately tied to the auto industry there in Ohio, in case that needed qualification.
Are you perhaps misdirecting again in an attempt to score some sort of political point? Naw! Franklin wouldn't lie to prove a point. Not our Franklin. Nuh-uh!

The Popular vote doesn't substantiate the hypothesis.
Was pretty much 50/50 with Obama eeking out a slim 2.4% advantage.
But maybe your right. I think most folks held their noses either way and don't/didn't want a bunch of what they got or might have gotten.

Musky. Do you mean just like all contractors cheat their clients???? It's a lazy generalization, which I do not subscribe to.

Thats what I am talking about. The problems are ours and when we can address real issues and not the made up ones, everyone will be better off.

I'm sort of hoping, now that the big to-do is over, that we can come together make the best of things. I've said before that it takes liberals and conservatives to operate this place. One keeps a check on the other, because nobody really wants a super-majority of any one school of thought. We are all Americans, and we are all patriotic. We need to show one another respect.
And I'm content with the way Congress is working right now. If they are not acting they are not screwing anything up.
