Stacked stone water wall


What Would you use to create a water wall that would last. I want to build something like but smaller water wall feature

CMU or Gunite for the wall construction. Cementitious waterproofing membrane. Thinset for the stone install. Your biggest issue is going to be maintaining the calcium lines/deposits that’ll form on the finished faces.

I take it that this will be outdoors. Plan on some kind of algae control. Mineral deposits aside, the slimy organic stuff is much harder to control. These outdoor water features look nice, but require more maintenance than one would think (don’t ask me how I know).
