As a newb to the Coverings scene, should I expect exclusive deals on tools or products for Coverings? Want to inform the wife that there might be a couple (numerous) purchases if thats the case. Of course I'll look at whats coming out in the world of tile as well, but as an installer I'm really interested in tools or products that make my day to day easier.

Justin.. There will be vendors from all directions that have tools they feel you need. It'll be up to you to scope them out. Now.. newby status proly won't get you much of a discount, but they all will be glad to take your money.
Coverings ia a good place to network and gain good contacts for stuff you never really knew you needed..

Be careful, Justin. Some of us know a guy who concluded a deal for a CNC machine at Coverings.

Sharon,
You can usually see our "furniture" and John Bridge/Tile Geeks street sign from the Laticrete booth. You're welcome to come over our way, too. I will try to catch you in the Laticrete booth, though. Will Henry be there this year?
|
I just got word, I won't be attending the show this year, more of our local crew will be there. Henry will be attending although I'm not sure if he'll be there for the entire show. I'll let him know to come say "hi".

Sorry to hear that Sharon - you will be missed.. Maybe New Orleans?
Paul, are you talking about the two young ladies at the Chicago show that were naked with only body paint? That exhibit was from Pakistan and the ladies were CHEE-cago'ns..

Once upon returning to the furniture I found Henry holding a business meeting there. As I approached, he asked me if I could give them a few minutes. In other words buzz off, so I've been wondering since if the furniture is ours or Henry's.
Don't get me wrong, Sharon. Henry can use our furniture anytime he wants. We put it there for others to use.
