Coverings Orlando 2017

I can't believe a Coverings thread has not yet been started.
Anyone going to Coverings should be making reservations and Registering (Free) at Coverings 2017 Orlando.
Should be another good time for all attending.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again,
I am sure the "John Bridge Couch" will again be there once alla the formal details have gell'd.
The Tee shirts order has been initiated and all of our sponsors have again re-enlisted. Once the special artwork for the Orlando 2017 venue have been established I will report again.
Who will be attending this event? Show of hands?

I wish they would move it to the end of January or beginning of February. April always seems to be the month where everything breaks wide open and you have 3 jobs going at once.

I'll be there along with many others from the #LATICRETE team. I'm looking forward to it! It's my first year at Coverings.

Paul... I got two smalls ordered, but I don't think Marge is a small.. I could be wrong.. Marge - you gonna be there? Bring Dave?
Each year I find that the size of the group changes. Some years there are more large's and some years there are more XL's.. The XXL group is diminishing..
Jerry - it's a blast.. and Fujiwa will be there too. Mr. Fujiwara is attending.
They have great pool tiles - a little pricey but really nice stuff.

Dave, I sure hope you can come. Its a really nice break from the cold.
Sharon, It will be great to meet you!
Fred, where will you be coming from? I take it you are in more of a cold area too.
Seems Coverings is usually around the Spring Break period which helps if you have kids outta school.

The JB "furniture" will again be in Bill Russo's booth #4582. I hope to see all of you there. I usually leave a stack of my cards on the coffee table. My cell number is on them, so you can always run me down if I'm not taking a break at the booth.

Years ago the John Bridge Forums couch came into being through the graciousness of my buddy Dave Gobis, who was at that time director of the tile school in S. Carolina (CTEF). Dave couldn't scare up the funds after that first year, so my partners and I paid for it. For the past several years Coverings has furnished it in exchange for advertising.

At some point during all that time the original three-cushion couch we used to get became unavailable, so we changed it to two love seats and a coffee table. Calling it the John Bridge Love Seat just never appealed to me.

Again, I hope you track me down.

You KNOW we're calling it the John Bridge Love Seat now, right?

I'll be there! Stop by the MAPEI booth (Yes Sharon, even you!) if I don't see you at the John Bridge Love Seat. Or come see me and Noah Chitty yap about thin tile:
