How long to wait before acid cleaning and sealing outdoor slate?

Thanks to the contributors in the previous thread re: removing stone haze. Acid cleaning with glycolic acid seems to be working.

One question though, how long should one wait before acid cleaning and sealing the slate outdoors. My grouting was done 4 days back and the weather has been hot so it seems to be dried and uniform in color. SHould I acid wash and seal right away or should wait for 10 days for curing as suggested on the package,

Thanks in advance,

I've never used that acid and can't recommend it myself.Using acids can harm your stone, but i think a mild acid is fine on most slates as long as it's neutralized.3 days are recommended for grout to harden before acid cleaning.
