Depends upon your perspective, Goldstein. I bet that Dragonfly thinks your friendly froggie looks pretty spooky close up.

Is this normal?

Mapei’s grey “Ceramic tile mortar” from Lowe’s is green?
Happy Labor Day to everyone!

Never seen that before.

But you're mixing it up in a green bucket, so I guess it's to be expected.

Haha, I’ll use a purple bucket next time and see which color I can find then.
The white was too expensive for this experiment.
Greg, I’m sticking with regular crown. I prefer having it straight and couldn’t bear the vanilla, the apple was too sweet for my taste. I was happy for the shot glass though. I’m happy to be back in Turlock, it’s perfect for raising kids and plenty of business from honest people.

Wet saw is nice to have, but the grinder made for a tighter miter, at least in my experience with it. And here’s my good friend Joey, never complained no matter the time or day.

Crown is pretty sweet to begin with. I had to go back and look at the post, I didn't even notice the shot glass, nice.

My good friend is originally from Turlock. I've never been there, close, but not quite there, lol. He lives in Mountain Ranch now. I actually lived in Arnold for a couple of years in the mid 90's, which is only about an hour and a half from Turlock.

Mitering with a grinder seems to be the best way for me as well Christopher, some of the nicest tile work I've seen was performed with no trim pieces and all miters. With a well grained tile the job looks super clean.

Sorry to hear about your helpers passing.

A new puppy joined our pack a few weeks ago. The rescue place told us her momma is rat terrier and daddy is shiba inu. All I know is she's a bundle of energy.

Our older dogs are adjusting to having an energetic dog in the house

The Big Boy No. 4014 docked at our station here in Palestine yesterday, leaving this morning. Sound of the horn was unreal
