0 counts too. Day 1 begins on the zero hour of the zero day. From the time you are born to the day of your 10th birthday you have lived for a full 10 years. You then begin your 11th year - on your next birthday you are celebrating 11 years fully lived. When you turn 60 you are not still in your 50s are you if you are being honest)?

Calendars are made up and have been changed to suit. I can't argue with the "experts" but I do believe the hive has it right when they say that we are now in the 2020s - a new decade. Besides, who are we to argue with "Mamma"?

To throw some fuel on the fire, in some cultures, a child is 1 on the day of their birth...The 2000 issue was computer programming problem.
