Shower Leak

I have a leaking tile shower. I recently removed the floor tiles and mud base. There is no slope and the mud base sat on what looks to be a fiberglass mat over a wood subfloor. This mat( that is what I am calling it), is level. i am guessing, this was the installers idea of a shower pan. This mat overlaps the curb and extends 3 inches above the curb. I know this because I removed some drywall next to the shower and can see the fiberglass. The leak is coming from one of the drain bolt holes. The walls are tiled and in perfect shape. My question is, is there any way to waterproof the floor and re-tile without having to tear out tiles from the wall? Thank you for your help.

Thank you,

Thats what I was afraid of. I do not have extra tiles. The walls are backerboard with a moisture barrier. Looks like I have to do a complete re-do.

That's what I always recommend as IMHO there is no 'graceful' way to patch only the bottom section and have it blend in with the waterproofing at the upper section (if there is any)

For when DIY isn't such a good idea...
