As paint being the core of my trade...paint and primer in one is for the birds........

They are two different chemicals with two very different jobs.

Proper coverage with proper results will take twice the material with twice the time.

For ceilings in a bathroom its an oil based primer....
Then a flat sheen(unless specified) water base with an extra shot of mold inhibitor.

I just finished 2 story house remodeling, all new paint. Customer provided primer/paint combo from HD. We couldn't do any touch ups - there was always visible color difference. We ended up painting corner to corner..... We'll never use it again.
