J's small hall bath project and a thank you

long time lurker, first time poster.
My name is Jesper, I'm originally from Sweden but I have been living in the us since 1999,
I would call myself a fairly ok DIYer

I wanted to say thanks to everyone that posts on this board, I was able to find all the answers I needed to for my small hall bath project.
Right now it is almost done, hopefully I will be completed this weekend. The only thing left is to grout the tub surround and do all the trim.

The project started with a fouls smell that after a lot of searching turned out to be a dead mouse in the attic, of course i had done some destructive searching before i found this. The bathroom was planned to be remodeled anyway so at least I didn't break anything that I had planned to keep.

some pictures can be found on my blog grasjo blogspot com
( why can i not post a web link?)

So one again THANKS this site is awesome

Jesper, welcome to the forum.

You did a bath without asking any questions? We're going to feel not needed. A mouse caused it all huh? I could tell you a skunk story too.

You need to post a few times before links, etc are allowed. It helps us keep spam to a minimum around here. Here's the link for others to use http://grasjo.blogspot.com

Thanks for sharing the pitchers...looks great! Cute helper too!

Welcome to the forum, Jesper. We're glad you decided to speak up.

You have to make a few posts before you can post pictures or links; it's an anti-spam thing.

I wonder if that mouse died from eating some mastic?

Thanks for posting the link.
All of you where really needed I had plenty of questions but I was able to search and find answers to them with out posting before.
My little helper, he was good at handing me screws and holding things but it was harder to have him close by when tiling, I think got three shirts and pants messed up with drywall mud and thinset

I have no idea what caused the mouse to die but it sure smelled bad!
