MLT T-2 straps

I searched the threads and found no info on this specific

I'm doing some herringbone and double herringbone for 36inch long wood plank tiles. I made sure the floor is flat and no matter how hard I try there is some lippage occurring with 1/16th grout lines. The largest lippage is about 3/32. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the MLT system before I move to tiling the kitchen and living room.

The T2 straps I see on stone tool claim to be single use.that seem like a lot of added expense if so. Can someone confirm this? Also anyone have experience using this system on herringbone?

It does seem wasteful, but if you have ever had your wife yell at you for having the straps and bases strung out on the dining room table when she comes home from work you will happily pay for the extra expense. I never thought I would buy them but after getting things set up for a job and then realizing that I didn't make enough... I throw the straps in a box and use them for spacers when I can.

I have used them on a herringbone

MLT Tile Leveling System Review

My MLT review:
The system when used with T2 straps is sadly that together they are not good.
Some straps will implode at a setting of 1 on the tensioner (the lowest).
When this occurs you are screwed and pulling up no less than one tile, with no guarantee it doesnt reoccur
Off to ebay or the trash for MLT
