Thumbs up What Tilers Forums does for the Tile Industry in the UK.

Hi,

Some will already know of us, most won't. TilersForums.co.uk sort of came online due to a bit of an obsession, like most here, that I had with this brilliant forum!

I found loads of differences in the way we do things in the UK compared to you guys over here and as a result some of the help and advice wouldn't suit both countries and in the end I made a forum for the UK tile enthusiasts, for want of a better word.

www.TilersForums.co.uk became the forum in the end that serves the UK. And like here it's free for all to use, and like here we've passed the charges on to the bigger firms who want to reach this niche target audience.

We've been running for a couple of years now and have really become something of a respected place talked about on and offline by many within the tile industry and we've been passing benefits back to the Tile Fixers (setters in your speak) and I wanted to show you guys what we've done with sponsorship cash!

HERE IS THE ARTICLE

We've not stopped there though, we're still making LOADS of websites and setting up LOADS of projects that are all designed to serve the contractor and save him cash or help him get business in or something similar - and the guys that enable us to do such a thing are our sponsors.

I've thanked John many a time and will thank him again, thanks John, but I'm sorry to hear he doesn't want to work with us on a much bigger international project which gutted me but hey-ho. I'm sure that providing people have the urge to search for information on websites such as these there will always be a chance for somebody to turn those searches into real people chatting together about a subject and it's those people that make websites like these tick. So thanks to you all for searching and joining these forums and things and thanks to all the sponsors of here and our forums for making it possible.

Please checkout the article linked to above, I think some will be quite impressed with our missions.

I hope this thread fits the current rules etc.

Dan

Good morning Dan
Just read your post, very interesting, I hope you do well with it. I'll take a cruise over to see what's going on in the UK, and see how things there are handled by the tile fixers. Being American I'm not sure I'll fully understand the ''Queen's English'', but I'll do my best. See ya across the pond.
