New shower assistance pls.

Hello to everyone.

I was doing some browsing and searching over at Terry Love's forum and saw this site mentioned and suggested to others. So I came over and I've been looking and searching previous post, trying to get some ideas for some time now.

Hope you guys could give us some tips and suggestions. I'm trying to help out a buddy that has started to work on his shower and is now stuck. We were trying to find out the best way to make the opening to the shower but the walls are not the same width. One is wider than the other.... I thought but using 2x6 lumber we would be able to make the opening for the shower while it was in place but we decided to stop and try to get another opinion.

My name is Joe, thought I could at least post a link to photobucket where the pics are. Guess I'll have to wait on that. I'm down in south Florida and the home where this shower is being built is concrete slab with block wall. Furring strips were nailed to the exterior walls and 2x4 metal studs were used for interior walls. The opening of the shower is in an angle, similar to a neo-angle shower, the only problem is that the walls have different width's and figuring out the opening is complicated. We attempted to use 2x6 wood but I don't think it'll work either. Hope to provide you guys with some pics for you to take a look at.

Finally got my pc back. Not sure if you guys got a chance to look at the pictures.....What do you guys think? The opening was made with 2x6 but the partitions are 2x4.

Hope you could point us in the right direction....
