So that was a self portrait?
John I bought myself a new digital camera back before Christmas. I did this in hopes that it would be a little easier to operate than the one I already had. Well screw-it! It isn't.
Now it is still hidden on a shelf so my wife won't find it and I haven't taken the time to learn how to operate the damn thing.
Every day (as more and more jobs would come to fruition) I would say to myself; "Damn I need to get that camera out and get it working". "Hey Jeremy remind to do that will ya"?
Well in early February I finally took it off the shelf and guess what? You have to charge the friggin' batteries for like 14 hours or something like that before you can use it for the first time. I guess sitting on the shelf hiding takes a lot of juice. How dumb is that?
So I charged the batteries again. Then back on the shelf it went. My wife must have come home unexpectedly or something.
About a week ago I got it out again and began to play with it (the camera). You know what? The damned batteries lasted about twelve minutes and most of that time was spent trying to understand the owners manual. Twelve minutes and the sucker crashed.
So now I have dead batteries again and need to charge them suckers. Again!
Work had slowed and I thought I would have more time to wade through that manual, so I didn't. I spent all my spare time catching up on my paperwork. Now I'm covered-up again with work and have several quotes to get out right away or lose the opportunity. And of course here I sit. Plucking away on this dumb computer. And there the camera sits, hidden on the shelf. Dieing.
You know what? All that "Eveready" stuff is bullshit. That sucker ain't never ready. Now it's 'tax time' and I'm even further behind so the camera is going to have to wait a little longer.
You don't have to dare me though, all you have to do is be more patient than what you have been in the past and one day I'll upload my handsome portrait just because you asked me to.
