[n pain.
I know I haven't been around for a long tme and there are many of you who do not know me.
I am in great pain and I need friends to talk to.
On Friday, 12 13 14 my son died.
Needless to say, I am devastated. Michael was my only child.
I heard him die and those sounds will haunt me for a long time, He was dead by the time the paramedics got here.

Kate, words fail when presented with life's biggest tragedies. I am truly sorry for your loss. I will pray for peace for you and your son.

Kathleen, words are never enough to express condolences over the loss of a loved one, especially a child. I cannot know exactly what you are going through, but I can sympathize in a way that, thankfully, not many can. Two years ago this time of year, my son was dying from cancer. Nancy and I were with him right up til the time he went. I'm soooo sorry. Nancy and I will be praying for you.

I'm devastated to hear that, Kathleen. You and I have both lost spouses, but losing a child is another thing. I'll be thinking of you.

My wife and I lost our first son 9 days after he was born. That was 15 years ago, and we still aren't the same. I'm sure you won't ever be able to accept what's happened, but I hope you can let those around you know that you love them.
