Tile Letter, March Issue
A very excellent issue of Tile Letter, and there are some things of special interest to forum members and others:
There is a very nice tribute to Laticrete's founder, Dr. Henry Rothberg, who passed recently at age 91. It starts on Page 33.
An article featuring forum member LT Chong on Page 44.
Finally, a write-up on Page 114 dedicated to our friend, Tom "Hammy" Hambrock.
Oh, there are other interesting articles, too.

Congrats to LT. Very well deserved. And the tribute to Hammy was great. I had the privilege of attending the great mud course of 2010 with both of them. Both class acts. I never had the chance to meet Dr. Rothburg but have met his son Henry a few times. Also a class act. What a legacy he left behind.
And while not quite as epic, there is a pretty cool MLT ad on page 93.

This shows how the forum members that gather here are some of the best in
the tile industry with a common thread this site offers. The guys that are reaching out and posting for all to see.
Congratulations LT . I wish I could have met Hammy. He always was open to new ideas and I miss his emails asking me about and supporting my ideas.
MLT Mick and Mark you know are top notch.
I met and made contact with these guys through this forum.
John Bridge I met you at coverings Las Vegas a few years back.
You took the time to listen to my red neck linear drain ideas and again you are someone open to new things.
Lots of familiar names here and I hope to meet more members in person
I'm not sure if I got off topic but this forum has great members that are good for and known in the tile industry.

Its been a while now since Ive been on this forum.Since I joined TYW I have met many talented tradesmen/women and others that are as passionate about this trade as me.Alot of you have really blown up,and I have broadened my horizons as well. The sharing, the scrutiny, the new ideas, and the debates...its all good. Its real. Its a win/win.
I dont think I would have been involved in the NTCA or the CTEF if I hadnt stumbled upon this place. So, it was imperative that this site be included in the article.
My goal this year is to get more TYW members onboard with NTCA,and maybe we can get some of those tile police (Sloan,Whistler,Caruthers) on here as well!!

LT, you have a bunch of us NTCA & CTEF folks that watch this site regularly, however, most of us are covered up with other items and don't post often.
The three you mentioned have travel schedules that keep them from being as involved as they would like, but it's part of their life right now.

The tile police are all undercover cops. I've invited them all to participate here more than once. It's all good, though. We have Gobis and Rausch.
P.S. I did note the MLT ad, but I also saw the ads of our other sponsors, all of whom have representatives who are JB Forums members.

LT you are around Point, Texas? I use to live there. I was surprised when I read that seeing as how it's a town of around 500. Very cool.
And of course, nice job on the interview!
Also, what is the ACT certification L.T. mentioned?
