I built this shower about 2004 and now I've been called back to make some repairs. I don't normally do this sort of thing, but times being what they are, I thought I'd at least give a bid. The plan of action I'm considering is removing the grout and caulk from the joint where wall meets floor and up the inside corners as necessary. Replace with new grout and caulk and seal.
I'd like your opinion on tools (I own right angle grinder with various diamond wheels and some carbide hand tools) and materials to redo these joints and how to properly finish and seal so that this doesn't happen again. Also, isn't there some sort of epoxy grout sealant/colorant that might help keep this from being a future problem?
Any help appreciated.
