It's too bad that you didnt put some heating membrane down on the seat before finishing it up.. it could also function as a mini hot tub!
The work looks great. Excellent inspiration for me to start my steam project.

In one pic I saw where Danny screwed ledger boards to stack tile on. Don't the screw holes negate the waterproofing necessary for a steam shower?

With Kerdi it's easy to make a little patch for the holes, Dan, or you can just pookey'em up with a little KerdiFix.

Tile is done, and we finished grouting today!  We'll be back in a few days to caulk and seal grout. Plumber will be in to finish out, and hopefully shower door and transom will be done, and I'll have some finished pics. In one of the pics we are putting in some backer rod to fill up some of the space. Anyone else ever use this to save on caulk?

I was under the impression grout in a steemer needed to be epoxy, maybe I'm wrong.

Brian, Nothing says grout has to be epoxy anywhere unless it's in the job specs. 
Looks good, Danny. Your curb might contain a little water after use, but you can wipe it off. Great looking shower.

Finished caulking and sealing the grout. All the customer lacks is getting the steam shower door installed, and they'll be steamin. Thanks to everyone for the help, suggestions, and compliments. It's great to have a place like this, where other pro's unselfishly share their knowledge, so others can gain the confidence in themselves to take on a job like this.
