Grouting Miter Corners

Seeking advice for grouting miter corners vs caulking. I do not do that many miters but it appears alot of pros recommend grouting vs caulking. I attached a sketch of miter joint and show where thinset and grout joint are located. An issue is the small grout joint is difficult to clean without pulling out grout and wanted to see if the pro community agrees with this sketch and have any recommended techniquesMitered Tile Joint Sketch.pdf for grouting this type of joint

Hi Buck,

It's better if you take a picture of what you're talking about and posting it here.

Epoxy is a good way of doing those. Epoxy grout is good too.

Even with grout you kind of have to leave the grout in and proud a little too long and then carefully scrape and remove it away from the corner. And you still may have to touch it up as you go.

A lot of guys on social media are now matching an epoxy resin and then polishing it so it looks seamless. To me it’s kind of overkill but it does look good in the right situations.
