Picture of what the homeowner (Becky) wants me to recreate and progress so far. I won’t be doing the liner as thick. Corner bench, shampoo shelf, double niche ya boot.

I know, when she said glass block it took my back to my helper years. The guy I mostly learned the trade from, Mike Eckert, did a couple glass block jobs when I helped him so it was something I didn’t shy away from. I’m also tiling in a sink, putting it into my mud to tile over. Every other bid said what she was asking was impossible the way she wanted it... gotta love the customizability of mud.

Unfortunately with the way tile is going (large!) Mud skills are the perfect compliment. Too bad slinging mud went away as the norm. I have to dig up old photos of the glass block showers my old boss did. Notice I said photos. No smart phones way back then. There was this new technology called Polaroid though.

Hey everyone. I haven't been on in quite a while. I ran into John and Frank at coverings and have been meaning to stop in more.
Here's a little bathroom I'm almost finished with. Clients let me play a little.

Good to see you back and still on your game, Mark.
I'll put that niche in our Alumni Album forum.

Hey Mark,
Good seeing you at Coverings. That niche makes me a little dizzy, but I'm dizzy a lot lately.
