Another Status Update

Still haven't seen any product.

The UPS tracking still says the product has never been picked-up. When looking into the shipment details further, it was 2 boxes weighing 4 lbs. I don't understand how 2 complete 48 x 48 shower kits with base, curb, kerdi and drain would only weigh 4 lbs.

Tried sending email this morning. Attached copy of original order and shipping email so there was no question about who I was and what I ordered. There has been absolutely no response. Again I tried calling and they do not answer their phones, you must leave a voicemail which they never respond to.


At this point I am totally frustrated. They charged me $890.00 immediately when I placed the order and I still can't get my order. More frustrating is that they have my phone number, my email, my snail mail address and there has never been any communication coming from them.

I hate businesses that operate that way. I believe if it were me I'd call the credit card company and have them stop payment and/or get them involved also. You can also put in a complaint with the BBB. Sometimes it takes a kick in the pants to get someones attention.

Thanks Lou, I did get your PM. I appreciate the offer and I may use it.

The timeline of events made it seem like I would finally be getting what I ordered in that the day I made the first post, I received shipping confirmation with tracking numbers. I just tracked the packages again and it still says that only a shipping label was created.

I didn't want to have to fight with the credit card company to get my money back. I obviously can't work through tile-experts.com because I can't get them to respond to emails or voicemails and they don't answer their phone (I try to call anywhere between 9AM and 4 PM EDT so they should be there)

There are many places online where I can order Schluter products but I like to stay with vendors that are recommended by or participate in this forum. Tile-Experts.com has been recommended by JB himself on many occasions.

At this point just totally frustrated and I will get back to you if I need to take you up on your gracious offer.

Final Update

Finally got to speak with someone on Monday the 25th. There was a problem with the Fedex driver refusing several shipments from tile_experts and their shipping location not informing them that the shipments (there were several) were not picked-up. Everything has been re-shipped and it arrived.

Although I don't post much I have been reading through the threads for many years and appreciate those who post. I have gained much knowledge because of them.

I came across this thread and recently purchased material from Tile-Experts.com

My experience was 100% satisfaction.

E-mails where replied to lightning fast, phone calls where returned quickly and when I called and got the answering service I hung up not wanting to leave a message and called back in 5 minutes with David picking up at the other end apologizing for not answering because he was busy.

All material delivered on time and in mint condition as if it came off the factory assembly line.

Over the years I've ordered from various places, locally and online.

Tile-Experts.com now have my business.

Unhappy Sorry to raise this thread again

Hi, My first post, sorry it has to be a complaint, not about the site.
I ordered some Ditra heat from Tile-Experts.com, last week, took the money a lot faster from PayPal than they can get me a tracking number for my shipment. So, I'm unable to get a delivery date, or get hold of them, very frustrated, wish I'd read this thread first, probably would not have ordered from them. I do notice he replies to this site, so hopefully I can some reply from them on here.

It's unfortunate that this thread had to be resurected, but just like the previous poster, my first post will be a complaint, this ti against the canadian branch of tile experts.
I ordered two nuheat mats and a T-stat in June, had my credit card charged for the complete order and after a rather long wait, received a parcel missing one of the mats. Since then, they have been unreachable by phone or by email.
Hopefully, this posts gets seen by somebody capable of getting the ball rolling in fufilling the rest of my order.

Resurrecting this thread again...taken weeks to get my order with no phone calls or emails returned and the order is incomplete and incorrect. Is there any good way to get in contact with this ******* company? Pretty close to charging the order back with my credit card.
