Glass mosaic as accent

First time that I'm posting. Glad to see so many good questions, ideas, and answers. I have a granite counter top with lots of movement. Want to add 17" high tumbled marble back splash, but was wondering how a 3" wide glass mosaic strip accent would look with the marble. Would it be too much to combine 2 beautiful things in a back splash? I read about the problems with marble and staining, but I see some posts were OK with that and sealing before putting marble down is needed. I also like travertine. Thanks for any feedback.

You can use any combination that makes YOU happy.

Bigger issue is, there shouldn't be a lot of movement in the counter top.

Richie,

She meant movement, not movement.

I'm with ya Jennifer.

Take a look at our websites for inspiration. Some of these guys have done some beautiful work.

Richie and Paul,
Thanks for your advice. I will use both the stone and the glass tile. I will check the web site. Jennifer
