RobZ lives in the D.C. area.

You can do a search (above) to email Rob direct. I'm not sure what his exact user name is so you can go in to "members" (above) and find him alphabetically.

I'll just post it in here rob,Im going to va. to do my uncles house in woodbridge va.(30 mile s. of dc)Any way,he wants to put marble in the foyer, probably 200 ft or so,I was wondering if you knew of a dal-tile distribuiter around there or if maybe there was a better place to go.Ironically here in ohio I go to Virginia Tile and there isnt one in Virginia but the is one in Michigan!
Also,I have cousin there who is looking for work as a tile helper,he has worked with me a few times and he is by far the hardest worker I have ever seen.I was doing a apartment building and I flew him in to stock the building for me and he was carrying 3 sheets of durrock at a time, honest to God!Never once complained,he loves it.If you know of anybody looking...?
Anyway,if you can help at all,let me know,thanks again,William

"Down There" was purely a geographical reference..William is in Ohio..."Up There".

William

Yes, there is a Dal in Springfield, about 20 minutes from Woodbridge. I have a friend that works there.

Let me know if you need any info when you get down here.

William:

I know where Woodbridge is....just south of Ft. Belvoir. Used to stomp aroung those parts in the late 80's. There used to be a really great dive bar near there right off the highway that had awesome Tex-Mex and brought you your Lone Star in the six pack carrier with ice dumped on it. It's gone now, too bad....man did I spend some money there!

Thougt I better add that

You would be shocked to see that much of that Rt One corridor is getting cleaned up. There are still plenty of places to get in trouble, though.

Doesn't matter where you go there's always some do-gooder screwing things up.
