Tile Grout Choice

I am considering using Tec Design FX in the bronze color. I was curious if anyone has any first hand experience with this grout? Does the sparkle stay over time or does it fade? I am afraid it is just a gimmick that has not been fully developed. I just cannot find alot of information about it.

I'm not familiar with TEC's version but when I was at MAPEI we rolled out Flexcolor 3D. It has been in the market for three years now, the 'glitter' effect is part of the grout so there is no way it can fade over time. If you have a Floor and Decor near you, they stock it. Lowes can special order it if they don't have it on the shelf.

it stays very sparkly, but they don't get "used" or exposed of much of anything.

Which Menards? I wish we had Menards here in Tennessee. We enjoy looking there when we are visiting relatives. Who wouldn't love a home improvement store where you can buy a gallon of milk?

Oak Creek,
Racine,
Kenosha,
West Allis,
West Milwaukee,
Milwaukee,
Speedway/Franklin,
Waukesha,
Pewaukee,
Germantown,
Burlington,
Johnson Creek only once,
Sheboygan only once,
Madison a few times,
Fond Du Lac,
Oshkosh.

I love Menards. One of the few problems is that they are too concerned with price. For instance, I used to get high quality GE 100% silicone fromt them. But the price went up a bit. So they replaced the good stuff with a cheaper caulk at a slightly better price point. I don't want cheap. I want good value. And sometimes that means more money. In some way, it seems like Menards is inching their way towards being a dollar store.
