Barewood mountain by Big N Rich is playing right now. I listen to all types of music. Usually, turn iTunes on and set it to random. I have everything from 50 cent, to motley crue to janet jackson to chris ledux and everything in between.

Silence
Most times, I just like the silence. However, with 4 teenagers at home, that rarely ever happens.
Right now, they're blasting the music on the DDR video game - all 4 playing together. ARRRGGGGHHHHH!
Then again. Their laughter truly is a beautiful sound.
That's it. I'm listening to the sounds of family....
I guess I should enjoy it while they're still here.

Right now, I'm playing some Elliott Smith and Cat Stevens. The computer is in Hannah's room and she's fast asleep. On the iPod Nano I wear around my neck at work, I've got The Killers, The Bravery, The Gorillaz, Yeah,Yeah,Yeahs, Sleeter-Kinney, Liz Phair, Tom Petty, Barenaked Ladies, Arcade Fire, Jolie Holland, Keb Mo, Neko Case, Son Volt, Wilco, Jay Farrar, Cowboy Junkies, Deathcab for Cutie, The Flaming Lips, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, The White Stripes, Madeleine Peyroux and the unflappable Mr. Jimmy Buffet. I also have a bunch of news and panel discussions podcasted. It all goes into shuffle mode and I change out the news stuff when it's made it through one playing.

I too love it all except the rap crap. Rage is one of my favs. jack, but if I had to pick I LOVE the blues. Stevie Ray, and Clapton are my heroes.
