Curbless steam shower

So I have a few issues with a project, but the main problem I have is that it is to be done with an ARC or tuff form pan..we have discussed them here before, I am not a fan, but they purchased it already. My question is how do I make this work? MapeI WPG is the membrane that they call for. I have not checked yet, thought I'd ask here first.
I am not a fan of these pans, but a potential client already purchased it, so how do I provide the best product to the end user?

Hey Don,

Here is the install video. I watched it. Not very impressive.

I'd suggest to the client that you are the professional and you have your preferred method for waterproofing steamers. Explain your methodology and preferred materials in your barrier free steam showers and convince/educate them on a better system.

Don, you like to ask challenging questions! Not bad enough that it's a plastic pan, but you also want to use it in a steam shower with one of our European products. Let me see if I can decode your question a little. First, Mapegum WPG is made in Italy and most closely crosses over to our Mapelastic HPG.

We did a test on the Tuff Form pan in 2009 with HPG and also with our Mapelastic AquaDefense. AquaD had better bond strengths. However, it was difficult to apply because the Tuff-Form base is non-absorptive. You can use AquaD for a steam room but we still recommend a secondary vapor barrier for extra insurance.

Good luck!

Thanks Dan. The WPG is what comes with the pan, and I'd be fine with the whole program staying across the pond, but changing the membrane may be the more reasonable option. The designer has done tons like this....
If they wanna go this route, I will probably use the AquaD, easy enough change I guess since the mapegum is short on coverage as well. Oh joy.
