Nugrout is great

I used Nugrout on my bathroom grout, and it looks perfect. At first I regretted not using the Mapei Opti, but not anymore. If anybody every uses a dark color grout (Mapei Mocha) and it doesn't turn out the way you want, just buy the Nugrout, apply it, and you will love it. My grout was lighter than I wanted it b/c any number of reasons that I thought I was being careful to prevent. I didn't buy the cleaner/prep Nugrout product, because my grout was new. The color is even. Great product!!

I need to learn how to post pictures. Any help?

That's good to hear. I used the same grout and although it came out a little lighter than we hoped, it all looked good to me. Wife wants it darker so I'll look into this and let her do it.

similar experience

yeah, we used a mapei grout on our floor which turned out way different than the color swatch indicated (lighter and a somewhat different color altogether). So now plan B is to use a Nugrout colorant of the same color to correct it. My question is whether I'm going to get the color from Nugrout that is represented on the Mapei color palette brochure I've been relying on. Are the colors acurate?

Jessica -

just a kind suggestion - you will have vastly greater results if you post a new thread of your own, as opposed to trying to resurrect years-old threads like these... Lotsa turnover on these forums.

Good luck, welcome to the forums, and we all look forward to seeing your future successes
