A Clean Cut on Tile

I have a little project coming up. Master tub is set in the corner of the bathroom and I want a tile surround around it.

The tile I have to work with is 3" x 13" bullnose trim pieces. However, I need pieces that are only 2" wide. This leaves me to have to rip the 3"x13" pieces down to 2"x13". Keep in mind these tiles will be around the top of the tub, a very visible location.

My question is what method will leave me with the cleanest cut? I have a bridge tile saw, but I wonder if I should invest in one of those score & snap tile cutters instead. The tile (ceramic) is brown on the surface, but a terra cotta underneath. This means all the little chips show. Grout is also a similar color brown.

So how would you make the cuts?

Hi Dennis, I would cut them on the saw.

if that bridge saw plunge cuts i would score across the glaze first then cut body. works well for me, and the cuts are straighter.
