If you mean slaking the grout before use, I've never down that with epoxy grout. -just with cement grout.

As soon as you are done mixing start spreading. And I just mix with a margin trowel.


I must say the Spectralock is so much user friendly than older versions of epoxy grout. It definitely gives you some time to clean it up. I used to use Laticrete SP-100 and while that was still easy to use compared to old school epoxy you still had to get on it right away or have haze problems.
