This is a gas station in my area.
We don't need no steenkin' grout lines. Oh, and if we use up all those little pieces we won't have any waste!!!

Come on now. We prolly did 8-12 McDonalds in western Oregon from Portland down I5 to Medford from around 2001-2004...I tell you what they looked a lot better than that

So far this is the worst job i have ever seen. It's really ugly. Unbeliavable someone would actually sell this as finished product and how could the owner pay for this is beyond me.

With just that one job the state of Georgia has kicked Florida to the #2 spot for Worst Tile jobs ever.
Brian you better start hitting the fast food and gas station restaurant bathrooms in Pasco county, FL to try and top that.

BS i say we're still no 1.
How can we not be when i keep losing jobs like a tile garage with mudwork and anticrack where the people got the Amigos for 1.79 ft.le.And he said they supplied the tile !
Or the stone shower i just lost where the owner had no ceiling,no pocket door in, no door jams in,no doors, and wanted stone base.I told him he needed to die into the ceiling and doors,he got someone else for half my price.

it was the great migration of Florida tile guys trying to get away from a buck a foot.
I met one the other day, he was a remodel contractor very proud of his 2 specialties. electrical and tile.
told me waterproofing was a waste of time, because how many times have I tore out a shower when the green board wasn't wet.
I said never.
also said he won't use thinset on walls because it is too difficult and it takes too long.
I said good bye

I was in Atlanta GA all last week. I was surprised at the lack of quality.
We were in a 190/night hotel and the shower tile had spacers grouted into it. They were 12in polished porcelain with 1/4" grout joint. Elevator tile did not have a transition strip to protect the tile edge from luggage. Glass mosaics decos weren't built out flush to larger tiles. After two days, I had to put on my blinders. GA is a little to close to FL
However I did get to see some amazing craftsmanship but like many states it is hard to find anymore. Stone Mountain carving of Jefferson Davis, Stonewall Jackson, and Robert E. Lee...
