Pebble floor- zen for the customer, not the installer. Nice black slate from South Africa. And a nice summer headcold and fever.
Beer and advil, maybe it'll kill me. But I'm not that lucky.

still going.........
floated out the kitchen this a.m. after ripping up the tile there.
tiled the main 400sq.ft. living area and 200sq.ft. front dining with pattern and diagonal 13x13's. wrapped around and tied in the kitchen with full tile and ran a line down the hall and into the one bedroom.

control joints in the slab were cut there already.

I'm sitting here, picturing Gueuze with a big shiny badge on his chest says "tile police", standing there tapping his toe, swingin a billyclub!

we removed tile from the foyer and kitchen, that was floated with slc/thinset.
today we set the rest of the kitchen ,
down another hall and finished the 3rd bedroom.
all the main living area and front dining is grouted.
tomorrow finish grouting, put up some base, caulk and clean up.
1200 sq.ft. with rip up...4 days

Still good man. So when you say floated you mean you used SLC on it.

Brian,
Very nice!
Wish people would put what kind of tile it is though. Maybe we could start putting that in our posts?
