Jim you look a little too familiar with how that is done.

The bottom half of my shower was originally supposed to be the hex. I started with the wainscot then customer decided to run the 3 x 6 into the shower. I wanted the pattern to run from wainscot smoothly into shower. Waterproofing and k drain were already in. I contemplated mudding the floor higher but I was already stretched thin on time and money. I personally don't mind skinnies in some cases. The top row is a skinny also, not a pencil rail.

Thanks all.

Mark, that 3x6 shower is an impressive bit of work.

Your design?

Umm, person with a checkbook says, "I want a kerdi shower and I want to give you money."

I'm a whore, that's how I got the Vivid T-shirt. I also hate 4" tumbled marble, but I'm sure I'll "Do" that again as well.

And I will say that I have used modified thinset for every step of the job, including setting the tile, all Laticrete products, including 209 floor mud.

And now I can speak from experience- Kerdi build-up SUCKS!

As for me changing my signature line, the sentiment remains regarding the comparison with church. But I will go to church again someday, my mom won't live forever.

I'm a "Ho, Ho, Ho, so Merry friggin X-mas" Can I go back to work now? What? Ihave to wait till Monday?
