Mike, nice work on the Backsplash. Is that Cloe tile? Looks nice, will make a nice difference when you grout. You going white or contrasting with a gray??

Grout done. Mapei timber wolf gray. It's ultracolor fa. I'll be using miracle 511 porous plus sealer.

That’s some nice work Mike. 50% offset long subway tile, dimpled, and put to the test with overhead lighting.

Thanks for the warm welcome I got away from any kind of social interaction involving tile years ago but I always said this is the place that upped my game to another level, always grateful to have this place to share and learn from my fellow tile installers

Nice looking splash Steve, that is a major improvement over the stainless

3 weeks since my surgery, Dr. said 3 months recovery I am feeling very good now but will take it easy to strengthen the tendons slowly. I signed up for some disability policies years ago in case of an injury like this so I am covered. One was through State Farm.

Thanks Tonto, yes it's hard to surprise anyone these days. They comb over your work as you all know when you are gone. I worked with her husband on the surprise and he did not tell her. I didn't substitute the grate out till the last minute after I had grouted and cleaned up. He brought her in for the reveal and she was really pleased for the thoughtfulness.

A Master Bath we did last year, steam shower, floor heat, euro glass, vanities and top ect.
What started out as a $25,000.00 bathroom ended finishing at $45,000.00

Steve they rotate for must of us. I have giving up trying to learn the right way to take a picture so it shows up the correct orientation, I just tell people turn your head it is a good way to stretch your neck

Thanks Mike, not sure where I got Steve but you set me straight. Speaking of sets you are a big tennis player, must be playing a lot to get that elbow thing. Musta been thinking of this guy from Michigan who just posted this beautiful shower.

Steve really nice project and yes it never goes down in price. The basketweave black and white floor is one of my faves, traditional with heat ta boot.

Steam shower how did you prep it, working on doing an estimate right now but a couple things I have to figure out. So you took the glass all the way up to the ceiling I see. For the one I am looking at I am thinking of framing the ceiling out to house the steam generator I don't think they have anywhere to put it behind any of the walls. This would drop it down and less glass to put in. Assuming I can put the steam generator up in there.

Here is one my potential customer wants once I come back off injury. They like the field tile and the pebbles to be done similar. This tile Mediterranea Essence is the one I have used the most in showers over the years. I have not done one yet with vertical offset layout yet with it, hope to do that next.
