Its busy for sure. The install looks great! I know you spent a lot of time on the shower pan but I don't like how the diagonal lines go through to create the pitch. I know that is the only way to do that tile on the pan.

Great work none the less!

Too big a tile and pattern for a small angled room. Glad you feel it could be better. Every job I do I find something I dont like.

Not everyday someone asks you to pick their work apart... I think the install looks amazing, but after all its said and done I always find something to not like with my work. It looks great so don't beat yourself up....but you didn't ask for sugar you asked for vinegar so....

Like some have mentioned James, left wall interrupts the flow of everything else in my opinon.

I would of made the same pattern on the shower floor in a proportional size but more like 3" x 9"

The window is trimmed out so it looks lopsided. I prefer to trim (when possible) evenly around things. Looks more aesthetically pleasing.

I like to trim wainscoting and other surfaces with a chair rail, looks more regal to me. (Don't like the large outside pieces trimming the shower)

I like a wrapped looked on inside shower walls.

How's that for some advice??

Thanks a bunch. This all has been helpful. I think the grout helps a lot. I also built a wall unit to take the place of the linen closet we took out. My paint selections are perfect. Giant freestanding tub is in and I'm setting granite and mirrors Monday. With all these features plugged in now, the too-big tile seems less bold. It definitely tamed down a bit. I do have some stuff to keep in mind for next time thanks to y'all.

The grout made a huge difference. I didn't realize that it wasn't grouted in the first pictures.

I rather like that bathroom. Only things that stick out to me is the lack of stagger on the left wall and the full tiles used as trim. Would've ran the field out and trimmed it with schluter.

Having said that, if I were paying for it, I'd be really happy with it.

Party time folks

Now for some work of my own. Yesterday was a cool day for me. I took my transition to trainer course and as of 4:00pm became a journeyman tilesetter. So I'm going to spam some of my work here lol. Forgive me please.

Looks fantastic, Dan, and congrats on being a journeyman!

Are you doing mostly residential work?

Another wood look plank tile project we finished in Tampa, Florida.
Tile was Florida Tile 6x24 "Berkshire" Hickory. We tore up the old water damaged real wood and applied
Laticrete NXT vapor reduction coating membrane to the slab then installed the plank tile.
