thanx..yea def try some 253 to set the mat..but dont get me wrong on this install there was two small 8inch by 8inch areas i had to cut and reset..i think its just the felt on the mat that doesnt grab the thinset as good and the felt on the ditra

your not making it wet enough then.
the felt on the Strata_Mat absorbs the loose thinset better.

The wood looking tile seems to be getting popular. I see a lot on here and I'm on my second in a months time...
Also starting some undermounts today. Been forever as most people get solid tops these days.

Donnie, no the 253 works well, floor was nice and flat, and with back buttering the tile and using the seam clips, I'll have no worries.

you got little slivers. does the shoe cover that.
You could have done half of the half at the center of that hallway.

It was two little slivers there or six in the other portion, I opted for the two there, plus when the quarter round goes in it won't be as noticeable.
