Dave ,
The shower floor -- the Pita one -- looks gorgeous .

Maybe it is time to make a thread with shower floors ......... I've seen a decent amount of amazing ones in here . I'm sure we can get a thread per each specific area with some amazing installations .

Ya know what amazed me was lookin back through the pics i was trying to find some to post on Facebook.Guess what,i had none for years. It was that slow here, meanwhile some of you guys were bangin out work.I was still doin some resto, and small jobs, but nuthin interesting.
Some really fine work by ya'll.
Yes that shower floor almost gave me a nervous breakdown, the owner and i were barely speaking.I also did 1500 ft.mudset Crema Marfil that was falling apart in my hands on that job. That was the last decent job before the recession hit hard here.
That bath was for the little girl i was talkin about in the Kidspeak thread so i had to do a good job.

A fireplace I did about 2 yrs ago, the customers wanted to use leftover tile from their kitchen in the non-functioning fireplace(thanks to an earthquake that cracked the chimney) They had a carpenter build a plywood box to make it airtight, they asked me to tile inside the box, I asked if I could try something with copper. I made a sample of a flamed copper sheet and brought some slate samples, and here we are.
