Yeah, Brian. He knows which tiles he needs to step over from now on so he doesn't trip!

HA! Funny story actually...
I had to set this floor in 2 days because the last case of tile I opened was out of square almost as much as a shower pitch!
The tape was marking the ones set the first day, because there were still some necessities in the medicine cabinet hanging on the wall. That way the wife knew where to walk

Here's one I just finished. Grigio Del Forte limestone barrier free shower. 4 x 16 scratched and 16 x 16 brushed. Dropped the floor in the shower, built up the rest with 3/4" ply, ditra etc. First kerdi board shower in a while. Probably go back to mud again now, don't really like working over it or shimming and trimming almost every stud. Proline tile top drain, really liked working with it. The whole tub box gets encased in a cool white granite (not by me) Should be sweet.

Awesome work Mark, love the design of the floor and carrying into the drain. A floor like that takes much more time but the results worth it. Those shower walls almost look like they were just mudded but it is the color of the tile. That white granite will really stand out nicely
You got any pics by chance of the floor before you covered it up Mark?
Brain that is just too Shagadellic!

Nice splash Brian! I've seen that tile at the local shop, but have yet to use it.
Hey mark, amazing work as always dude! I can't see a joint that breaks the floor tile where the shower pitch starts. Did you just hide it really well?

Isaac used it on a shower 4 months ago and posted a pic.
I have had that project since May and have been chomping at
the bit to install it I remember he did and called him about it.
I like what he said...."it cuts like butter" and it did.

Fantastic work Mark, looks great. I looked at it and said the same thing Obie said, where's the break? Great work.
Brian, thats some neat stuff. Saw it on a DIY show a while back and thought that 3D tile was pretty cool. Nice execution.

Thanks guys. My original plan was to have a cut in the pattern from the tub corner to the door casing but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Lost some sleep over that one. I ended up fudging the slope a bit and bending it on the joint just left of the door casing and just past the tub corner. I was stoked that it worked out that way.
Brian I am so jealous of that backsplash. I've wanted to install that stuff since I saw it. Looks really good man. I would do that in my house.

Nice work Mark and Brian.
It is easy to cut, just a ceramic wall tile, that happens to be 12"x36" and is 3D.
Mark I like how you carried the pattern into the drain.
