steam generators / vapor proof light opinions?

Any opinions or ratings of one brand VS another? We know that we will need a 6 to 7 kW model but haven't been able to find pros/ cons on one brand VS another. We know that we want to forgo the "Instant" steam function because it wastes energy, as it is always on. So for that reason and price we have ruled out Thermasol.

Mr. Steam, Steamist and Kohler are readily available in my area so they are all easy to source and find service..

Additionally, can anyone suggest a good Vapor proof (not just waterproof) light for inside the shower? Nothing fancy, am more concerned with function than fashion.

This is a nice can light trim from Halo. Readily available at Home Burrito....and the diffuser spreads light all over...even onto the ceiling. I like using the 6" variety (the link shows a 5" trim).
