Great looking model, Todd! All of my stuff ends up looking a little cartoonish but that usually works in my favor as it's for table-top wargaming.

OK here's one for ya.
look at the face on the left (the angry face) and notice the face on the right(the regular face). Now step away from your screen about 10 or 15 feet and notice that the faces somewhat change positions. Weird hu?

Shaughnn, oh it was wonderful. Bone chilling lovely in fact. I can say with all thruth this was the first time I've ever been snowed on. Even if it only was a few flakes. And I can also say, its the first time I've ever seen an elk so up close and personal. Pichers don't do the place justice.
What nice part of Arid-zona did you go to?

Shaugnn, you nailed the shadowing on those Miniatures. Musta learned a trick or 2 with Ink/alcohol or Leather Dye/ Alcohol washes
Ive got a nephew who does fantasy miniatures and a younger brother doing military miniatures (2000 Napoleonics, 1500 Revolutionary War and 3000 American Civil War at last count)
Everytime I call him and ask him what he's up to he says "Painting Boots"
John, I was shaking after seeing those Bikini shots so badly, i almost didnt get the pictures of the cabin posted

I've been playing games since about 1975, and started painting minis a few years after that. Ink washes and dry-brushing are pretty standard painting techniques, and it's amazing how quickly a company of 20-30 minis can be churned out when you've got everything clicking. I'm still pretty slow at it though and I play and paint far less often than I'd like to. Napoleonic wargaming is something that I've always wanted to get into, though I rarely find players who share my cavalier attitudes about playing games. I play for the play, and rarely worry about winning. Don't much enjoy playing with "win or die" players. They're too serious and that's just silly.
