Never met him in person but always wanted to. Struck me as a really genuine person. Sad day.

Met Armin virtually every trade show I went to. Hard not to miss him zooming around in his cart. Consummate sales person, always selling. Obviously a hard-working, work till the very end kind of guy. Godspeed.

Yep, when I first met him years ago Armen was on that scooter. He could get off it and down on his knees, though, if he wanted to demonstrate what he was telling you. He and I kept up a sort of not-too-frequent online communication through the years. At one point he wanted me to help him write a book. Guess that book will never be published. Adios, amigo.

Yep, always zooming around on that scooter. Neat to see that so many people in the tile community recognize him. I pray for comfort for the family.

After 50 some odd years, I still have a good supply of the solid spacers that he built his name on. Wouldn't trade them for anything....

I guess I was one of the lucky ones to get run over by Armen at Coverings

So very sorry! What a wonderful and nice guy. I still use his spacers and always will as they are my favorite.

God Bless!

Brian did it for the insurance money. He settled for 5,000 3/16" spacers.

I have 5 or 6 different original Tavy spacers in my Folger cans. Wouldn't trade 'em for anything. (the spacers...not the cans!) I sob when I lose even one.
