Well, I knew zackly what you meant when you said 90 degrees, whether it was meaningful or not.

And yes, that rake would be negative. I can't testify that it's 5 degrees, but it's in that vicinity.

John, I'm a little surprised at you. You'd begrudge the boy an opportunity to buy a new tool? Not like you a-tall, seems like.


So, what would a fella cut his geodes with, then, if not with a wet saw?

Metal Cutting Blade

Alpha makes a special metal tile cutting blade called Metalgres. Contractors direct has it for $121.99 for a 10". Item PM10A

A band saw is the best tool to cut metal tiles. It is what we use for suspended computer floors which are 2'x2' metal tiles, some are even filled with a type of cement. A large band saw has no problem with them but a small one would do for you.
