Total height

What will be the total height of newheat membrane and 1/4 inch tile once installed?? Thanks

Nu-heat membrane is just under 1/4 inch thick (.22 inch) and by the time you get thinset under it, it'll be around 5/16 thick. With 1/4 inch tile and thinset added, depending on your tile size, you'll be another 5/16 to 3/8. Altogether you will be up at least 5/8, maybe a little more.

The larger the tiles are, the thicker your thinset would likely be. If you are wanting mosaic tiles, I would check to see if the manufacturer has a minimum size they recommend.

Just want to make sure, you are talking about the Nu-heat membrane mat and not the roll of mesh that has the wire already in it?
