Wanted: pretty tumbled marble tile mosaic backsplash
I'm remodelling my kitchen and plan to put in a tumbled marble tile countertop and backsplash. I saw a tumbled marble tile mosaic on the backsplash behind a stove on display at the Expo Center, but it was not for sale. I really want that mosaic or something similar for behind my stove. Since then I have checked numerous tile stores and have surfed the web like crazy looking for someplace to buy a pretty "picture" marble tile mosaic. I do not want a geometric shape, or a medallion, and I do not want painted tiles of any sort. What I saw and liked was a picture made from pieces of different colored marble. I can install tile well, but I have no artistic talent, and no desire to create my own. And I don't think I could afford to pay someone to creat a custom piece.
If anyone has any information of where I could find marble tile "picture" mosaics, on a mesh background, I would be very appreciative.
