Was the glass made by a local place? I used that exact same tile you used on your shower floor for my kitchen backsplash.

Long live dalite gold dust 2x2 tile!

Yes, local glass supplier. Yale Glass - Yale, Michigan.

That tile is hard stuff, eh?

Fifteen years and going strong!

I know it has been 13 years since this thread had any activity, but I was looking at my shower today and I thought of this forum.

Fifteen years ago - in 2004 - I decided to tear out the main bathroom in our house and update it. I had no experience whatsoever doing a project of this magnitude, let alone a project requiring the specific skill set of laying tile and installing plumbing. But, lucky for me, I stumbled on the John Bridge Tile Forum while searching the internet for help.

And help I received! Every step of the way, experts helped me with problems and issues I had, and gave me great tips as well even when I wasn't having problems and issues. With your help, I was able to install a state-of-the-art (for 2004 in Michigan) Kerdi shower with beautiful Grohe bath fixtures. The shower has performed perfectly for 15 years, with not a single drop of water ever escaping the Kerdi system.

I can't thank members of this forum enough. You did me a great service that has stood the test of time. Thanks again!
